Since the Stephen M. O'Grady
Foundation was formed in Spring 2000, we have donated over $140,000
to youth causes including 135 Scholarships totaling $104,200
to Salem Little League and Babe Ruth Alumni and over
$25,800 to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem.
Thank you to friends,family and local businesses for making this
possible.
Eligibility requirements to apply for a
Stephen M. O'Grady Scholarship are:
* Salem, Massachusetts resident at time of graduation
* 3 or more years as a player or volunteer for
Salem Little League or Babe Ruth League (verified with SLL)
* Acceptance to a college or continuing education facility
Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of academic achievement,
volunteer/community work, quality of application and personal
essay. The number and amount of our yearly scholarships are determined
by prior year fundraising efforts.
