New York Marathon Fundraiser Memories
11/7/04

Over $9,000 has been raised to date for the New York City Marathon Fundraiser bringing the 2 year, four marathon fundraiser total to over $27,000. 100% of money raised benefits the Steve O'Grady Building Fund of the Greater Salem Boys and Girls Club and the Stephen O'Grady Foundation.

It is hard to describe how beautiful the first mile was...

Self portrait of Manhatten skyline- You can see the end of the race at the start of the race. It looks so close!

Crossing the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge was my favorite marathon memory.

New York's finest cheered us on along the race.

Ask me about my Christmas Eve story of me,
Stephen and Rudolph!

Changing places with one of the volunteers-
man that felt good!

The view from the final few miles...

At mile 25 inCentral Park... I'm almost done!

My friend Beverly and BGC Board President Joanne Scott cheering for me at 26 miles... still .2 left!

Thank you to my friends who came all the way to the big apple to greet me at the finish line. At least someone looked fresh.. but it wasn't me!

Thank you to everyone who supported my goal to complete 4 marathons in 4 states in 2 years in honor of Stephen's 5th anniversary. Mission completed!
